We enjoy your cookbooks. We have all three. This one is a gift to my sister Flicka. We're getting her one a year for Christmas until she has all three. Thanks for the great food.

Dana,

How great it was to meet you at the Taste of Home Cooking School Show! I have enjoyed perusing the Grits Cookbook and look forward to trying some of these recipes with the holidays ahead.

All the best,

What a treat to meet Dana and be the recipient of all 3 of her tantalizing books! I'm ordering 3@ for my 3 daughters-in-law for Christmas -- and know they'll join me in "groaning" over all those calories we'll surely consume. We all like to cook, and who could resist such tempting recipes?

Many thanks to Dana -- what a talented, charming, and fun new friend!

I picked up a copy of the Grits cookbook a couple of years ago at the beach. I have used it more than any other cookbook I have. My husband and I have enjoyed everything I've made from it. My girlfriend's birthday is coming up and I thought this would be the perfect gift, so I'm ordering her one. I want to order the others also but That will be a later date.

Oh yes, I love your books, and have copies of all of them. What I would like <GRIN> is for you to do another one. You can't beat Southern Cooking and with all the new items on the market to now make it so much easier to whip up something, since everyone seems to be working these days and not having that much time. But I love your books, and would love to have a "new" one to look through and drool over!

My eyes are bloodshot, my stomach is growling and I need a serious intervention people. Really. I am not kidding. I am never going to fit through my doors after the holidays. See, I met someone. Someone wonderful! And I was up with them all night. Oh, it was such comfort. It was so sensual. I am in love…with ALL of her recipes. Yes, I am having an affair with Dana’s cookbooks, The GRITS-GIRLS. I told you I needed an intervention. But, if you had a copy of any of her books I promise you would be up all night ooh’ing and aah’ing as well. Each book contains a compilation of recipes collected over the years from friends and family alike. There are so many stories about the recipes integrated into each book making it very personal and fun. One book contains sayings from her Dad which are both fun and enlightening. It is more than just delicious recipes, it is a personal glimpse into the fabric of what has made her life. There are a couple that I am going to make for Thanksgiving. But I want to make them all, now. There are some recipes that she has that are already some family favorites here, which tells me, she and I have similar tastes. Like…Orange Balls. Remember awhile back when I made Orange Balls? Yep, she makes them. Many recipes I have never heard of and never tried…so I have lots of new things to present to my family and friends.
Whether you are a seasoned cook or just a beginner, you will fall in love with Dana, her recipes, and her family and friends as you walk through the fabric of her life. You will feel as if you have made a whole new batch of friends as you make recipes from each one and hear the story behind it. Like the waffles they have on Christmas morning as big gla** of milk chill in the freezer, a tradition started years ago by her father. The GRITS-GIRLS cookbooks are must have for every kitchen and would make anyone a GREAT Christmas gift.

I have all three of your books and I'm constantly telling friends and family about them. I'm ordering one for my sister. I have given all three to my two daughters. Thanks for compiling such a successful collection. I've had my copies many years. I discovered them at the Holiday Craft Fair in Greenville SC.
